Duchess of Cambridge pregnancy boosts Royal doc sales
The Duchess of Cambridge’s pregnancy has spurred sales of one-off documentary Wills & Kate: Baby Fever, according to its distributor Electric Sky.
The sales house has shopped the 1x45mins doc, which was made for Channel 5 in the UK, to MTV Media Finland, VMMA in Belgium, CBC News Network in Canada, Sky Network Television in New Zealand, M6 in France and Discovery Fit & Health in the US.
The film explores just what it takes to raise a monarch and how Prince William and his wife Kate have sought to define themselves as modern royals. It was produced by ITN Productions.
Continuing its Royal line up, Electric Sky added that it has picked up rights to 1x60mins documentary The Royal Paintbox, which joins HRH The Prince of Wales as he demonstrates and investigates the tradition of painting which runs through the Royal Family to Queen Victoria.
