C More snags Miramax programming deal

Nordic pay TV platform C More has inked a content deal with Miramax.

The agreement gives the pay TV service a raft of Miramax movie titles including There Will Be Blood, The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, Chicago, Jackie Brown, The Hours and Scream.

C More can show the movies on its linear channels as well as its C More Play streaming service.

Alongside Miramax, C More has content deals with HBO, Fox, NBCUniversal, MGM, Paramount Pictures and Sony.

Beth Minehart, senior VP, global digital at Miramax said: “C More is a strong platform serving the Nordic region, and we are very pleased to add C More to our list of outstanding international partners who are bringing Miramax films to audiences in traditional and new ways.”
