Canal+ strikes movie deal with Warner Bros
French premium broadcaster Canal+ has struck an exclusive film output deal with Hollywood studio Warner Bros, that will see movies launch in the first pay window.
The deal will give Canal+ exclusive pay TV rights to first run movies across its Canal+, Cine+, Comedie+ and Jimmy channels as well as mobile and on-demand rights.
Movies will include Ben Affleck’s Argo, Clint Eastwood’s Trouble with the Curve, Cloud Atlas and the third Hangover movie.
