Passion to sell new Sundance Channel series
The Sundance Channel’s slate of original programming will be heading to Cannes thanks to Passion Distribution.
Sally Miles’ distribution company will be shopping new series including Get To Work and will be hoping to shop new seasons of existing shows including Push Girls, The Mortified Sessions and Iconoclasts.
Get To Work is an 8x1hour series that takes a look inside a hardcore back-to-work boot camp that serves the chronically underemployed.
Meanwhile, Passion will be hoping it can strike more international deals for the second 8x30mins series of Push Girls after the first season was sold in Australia (Foxtel), France (TVous), Finland (Nelonen for Liv), Norway (TV2) and Canada (Sundance Channel).
Iconoclasts also returns for a sixth season with sponsor Grey Goose Entertainment. The series will feature director Judd Apatow, actor James Franco, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, TV chef Jamie Oliver and designer Paul Smith.
