Blinkbox launching HBO series Veep

Online video service Blinkbox has inked a deal with HBO and will make comedy series Veep available on a download-to-own basis from next month.

The UK deal means that Blinkbox will be the only place in the territory where the show can be bought and downloaded to own.

The eight-part comedy series debuted on HBO in the US and Sky Atlantic in the UK earlier this year.

The political comedy is written by Armando Iannucci (The Thick of It) and stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld).
