C More renews first pay TV window deals with MGM, Paramount
Nordic pay TV channel provider C More has renewed multi-year first pay TV window deals with Hollywood studios Paramount and MGM for its linear and on-demand services.
The deal with Paramount, covering C More’s pay TV and C More Play on-demand services, includes new releases and a number of films from the Paramount library on an exclusive basis. Titles covered by the agreement include Puss in Boots and Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted from DreamWorks Animation as well as Hugo, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and Footloose.
The MGM deal, also giving C More rights to air the pay TV premier to movies on linear and on-demand channels, covers movies including The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo; the upcoming Bond film Skyfall and The Hobbit trilogy.
The latest deals come hot on the heels of similar agreements struck by C More with Fox and NBC Universal.
