MTG Studios appoints Jonas Linnander-Manfred head of sales

Modern Times Group has hired Jonas Linnander-Manfred as managing director of international sales at its content division, MTG Studios.

Linnander-Manfred joins MTG from ITV Studios Nordic where he was director of international sales and business affairs and has also worked at Silverback, Talpa and Strix.

MTG Studios, previously known as Modern Studios, is run by Patrick Svensk, who having been at Zodiak joined MTG last year.

Svensk said of the appointment: “His extensive contact list and strong reputation within the industry will be invaluable as he develops the international sales side of the business at this exciting time for MTG Studios.”

Jonas Linnander-Manfred said: “With a footprint of 12 countries today, I look forward to making MTG Studios one of the best distributors in the market.”

MTG Studios comprises Strix, CEE-focused Paprika Latino and communications firm Redaktörerna. It has produced series including Johan Falk for Sweden’s TV4.
