Zodiak acquires French sci-fi drama

Zodiak Rights has acquired international distribution rights to French sci-fi drama Les Revenants (Rebound).

This is the latest French thriller that the company will distribute internationally following the success of Braquo.

Zodiak struck the deal with independent French producer Haut et Court, which previously produced the Audrey Tatou-fronted miniseries Coco Before Chanel. Les Revenants is produced for French pay TV operator Canal Plus.

Rebound is an eight part drama that takes part in a small mountain community that is rocked when several people who are presumed dead re-appear in their homes.

The €11.4 million (US$15 million) series was created by Lights Out’s Fabrice Gobert and is loosely based on Robin Campillo’s 2004 zombie movie.
