Endemol France hires Coppermann

Endemol France has hired Nicholas Coppermann.

The former M6 and Zodiak Media exec has been appointed managing director, Endemol France.

This comes less than two weeks after Endemol France chairman Virginie Calmels, was promoted to chief operating officer at Endemol Group.

Coppermann will report to Calmels and will take day-to-day management of the production company, which currently produces series including TF1’s Secret Story and M6’s Undercover Boss.

He was most recently general manager and partner at distributor Robin & Co. and was previously secretary general of programmes at M6 and chief executive of Zodiak Media-owned division Tele Images Productions. He will start the role immediately.

Virginie Calmels said: “Nicholas’ operational expertise and experience will be a great asset to Endemol France as we continue our successful period of growth and diversification.  I’m delighted to have someone of his calibre joining the team and I very much look forward to working with him.”
