ITV orders The Exit List

UK free-to-air broadcaster ITV has ordered a broadcast pilot of The Exit List, Sony Pictures Television’s new primetime gameshow format, TBIvision has learned.

US network ABC confirmed it too had ordered a pilot of the show from Sony’s Embassy Row and it will now air on both sides of the Atlantic after ITV picked up the show.

The UK broadcaster is expected to air it in a Saturday night primetime slot.

The big-budget gameshow as contestants progressing through a huge pyramid shaped maze winning cash along the way. The twist is that they need to remember all of the information gleaned on their way through the maze in order to make a safe and profitable exit.

Sony Pictures Television is distributing the format and launched it internationally at MIPCOM this week.
