Simon Fuller teams with Jennifer Lopez for Latin music series

Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment is making Q’Viva! The Chosen, a Latin music series with Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony.

In the show, the couple will spend three months travelling to various regions in the Americas, assembling a cast of performers who will then perform a spectacular live show that XIX said would be “one of the greatest celebrations of Latin culture that the world has ever seen.”

Thw show will be filmed in three languages and XIX said it will be broadcast simultaneously in 21 countries across North America, Central America and South America. No broadcast partners were named.

“Latin music and dance is loved all over the world but there has never been a particular show or live experience that truly celebrates its beauty and splendour,” said Simon Fuller. “Q’Viva is that show”.

Jennifer Lopez said: “This is a show for the 21st century with an unprecedented global and local story. The Latin culture is a tapestry that is rich in passion, tradition and artistry. We are going to places where all of this talent lives and wouldn’t have otherwise been discovered. This journey for me and Marc is going be exciting and groundbreaking.”
