Cineflix closes Lat Am deals
Cineflix International Distribution has closed a raft of deals with Latin American broadcasters following NATPE.
The distributor has inked deals with pan regional broadcasters including Discovery Latin America, Fox and Turner Latin America as well as with a number of US Hispanic networks.
This comes following the hire of Sabrina Ayala, as VP, Latin America and Iberia sales, who joined the company from Cableready last year.
Discovery acquired How Machines Work, Surviving The Future, Weird or What? with William Shatner, Princess, Rags to Red Carpet and Inside The Box with Ty Pennington, while Fox Life picked up Property Virgins and Turner bought Conviction Kitchen.
Univision-owned cable network Galavision acquired Cooler Facts and youth skewing broadcaster V-Me picked up The Unsellables.
The company also closed a volume deal with Spain’s La Sexta, which purchased titles including World’s Greenest Homes, Birth Days, Animal Rescue and A Dog’s Life.
