Int’l broadcasters picks up GK-TV’s Camelot
A raft of international broadcasters including Channel 4 has picked up GK-TV’s epic drama Camelot.
The show, which will air on US cable network Starz next year, has been picked up by Netherlands’ RTL, Asia’s AXN Beyond and Israel’s DBS. This follows deals in France, Germany, Spain and Latin America.
Camelot, which is produced by Ireland’s Octagon and Canada’s Take 5 Productions, is the first project from GK-TV, the Craig Cegielski-run international TV production and distribution arm of the US film studio set up by The Departed producer Graham King.
The series stars Jamie Campbell Bower as Arthur and Joseph Fiennes as Merlin the wizard.
