Fox Italy picks up UK dramas

Italian pay TV channels group Fox Channels Italy has picked up a package of scripted series from the UK. It has acquired shows including Collision, Five Days 2 and Criminal Justice from UK distributor DRG.

Collision is produced by Greenlit and aired on ITV in the UK and Criminal Justice and Five Days are both produced by, and aired on the BBC.

DRG has also picked up international rights to another UK scripted series, Injustice, a five-part psychological thriller from Anthony Horowitz, the creator of Collision.

It is being produced by Horowitz’s own production company Injustice Films and will air on ITV in the UK in 2011. DRG will be shopping the series to international buyers at MIPCOM.

The package picked up by Fox in Italy also includes Australian period crime drama Three Acts of Murder, which originally aired on the ABC’s ABC1.
