Tiger Aspect’s Zein to head up WB formats drive
Warner Bros. has hired Tiger Aspect MD Andrew Zein to head up its international formats drive.
This follows the move by Warner Bros International Television Distribution to set up a number of international production divisions that that the Hollywood studio announced in August last year.
Zein, who will report to Ronald Goes, will become senior vice president, creative, format development and sales.
He will be charged with ramping up the company’s international formats business that is expected to lead to local version of its Warner Bros series including teen drama Gossip Girl and psychological cop drama The Mentalist as well as reality series such as The Bachelor and High School Reunion.
Zein ran Tiger Aspect Productions for 13 years as the successful UK indie producer was responsible for hit series including Robin Hood, The Secret Diary of a Call Girl and kids series Charlie and Lola.
