US network NBC is set to launch a spin off of hit reality series The Biggest Loser and the show and format will be sold internationally by Shine International.
The show – Losing It With Jillian Michaels – features health and wellness expert Michaels as she travels the country to work with unhealthy families to change their ways. She will be joined by celebrity chef Curtis Stone who will provide cooking tips.
The series will be produced by Reveille and Empowered Media and will be exec produced by Michaels, Empowered Media’s Giancarlo Chersich, Reveille’s Mark Koop and Howard T Owens and The Oprah Winfrey Show’s Ellen Rakieten.
Shine International, the worldwide sales arm of Shine Group-owned producer Reveille will be distributing the finished series and will also be talking to international broadcasters about launching local versions of the show.
