Skai to launch local version of Nanny 911

Greek commercial broadcaster Skai TV is set to launch a local version of factual entertainment format Nanny 911 after striking a deal with ITV Studios.

This is the first time that the broadcaster has launched an international format.

The broadcaster, which is owned by the Skai Group, is to launch the 16x1hour series later this year. The show follows a team of babysitters who help parents tackle crazy kids.

Nanny 911 has been a big hit on US network Fox and the finished programme has been sold to over 60 territories.

The deal was inked by ITV Studios Global Entertainment distribution SVP Evi Nicopoulos and Skai programme exec Stella Litou.
