Disney’s Flash Forward sells throughout Asia

Disney has sold its much-anticipated drama series Flash Forward to ten broadcasters in Asia Pacific. Disney-ABC International Television has inked deals with a raft of channels in the region including Seven Network in Australia and TVB in Hong Kong.

Other free-to-air broadcasters in the region that have taken the show are: Media Prima (Malaysia), TVNZ (New Zealand), MediaCorp (Singapore) and ABS-CBN (Philippines).

Several pay TV channels have also picked up the show including Fox International (Southeast Asia), Zee Cafe (India), OCN (Korea) and Singtel (Singapore).

Disney has already lined up numerous European customers for the show including Five in the UK and Fox International Channels. It said it has sold it in to 44 territories in all.

The series debuts on US network ABC this Thursday at 8pm.
