W produces Canadian version of How To Look Good Naked

Canadian broadcaster W Network has commissioned a local version of fashion format How To Look Good Naked after striking a deal with UK distributor RDF RIghts.

The Corus Entertainment-owned network will launch 13x1hour How To Look Good Naked Canada later this year fronted by eTalk’s Zain Meghji. The show, which has gone into production, is being produced by Canadian indie Insight Productions.

The UK version of the show, which aired on Channel 4 and was produced by Maverick TV, starred fashion stylist Gok Wan and has run for four seasons. The format has travelled well with Disney-owned US cable network Lifetime launching an American version of the show fronted by Carson Kressley. There are also local versions in France on M6 and Poland on TVN Style as well as in Sweden, Israel and Belgium.
