Marvista teams with Snap for Latin JV

LA-based producer and distributor Marvista has formed a joint venture with Argentina’s Snap TV and the two will team to produce and distribute content for Latin American and US Hispanic audiences.

Snap, the production and distribution company run by former Endemol Argentina boss Ariel Tobi, will move into format production as part of the push with a focus on producing content for Latin cable and satellite channels and the US Hispanic networks.

The JV also involves bringing Marvista’s catalogue to Latin America and Snap’s catalogue to wider international audiences.

Tobi said: “We believe we can start producing English speaking content, with US sensibilities in Latin America in cooperation with local film and TV production companies and local TV Stations that are interested in developing a presence into the US Market and/or the English speaking territories worldwide.”
