New roles for Tavernier, Wiffen and Hoeflich at FremantleMedia’s scripted division
FremantleMedia has rejigged its Worldwide Drama department. Claire Tavernier becomes senior EVP of the WWD department and digital production arm FMX.
Donna Wiffen becomes senior VP, production and network at WWD, reporting to Tavernier. Her role will involve finding alternative funding models for scripted shows and acquisition of comedy and drama within FremantleMedia. Before joining FremantleMedia Wiffen was head of drama production at TalkbackThames.
WWD has also created a new position, senior VP, editorial. It will be filled on a rolling basis with senior editorial staff stepping into the role on a six-to-twelve month basis. The first executive to take on the role is Sarah Hoeflich from FremantleMedia’s German production arm Grundy UFA.
FremantleMedia said the new team’s key priorities include the international roll out of daily drama including German series Alles Was Zaehlt (All or Nothing).
