ABC Oz buys BBC-distributed drama and factual series

BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the UK public broadcaster the BBC has sold a package of factual programming to Australian public broadcaster ABC.

BBC Worldwide Australia cut the deal for series and one-offs including 10x50mins Life, 3x50mins Yellowstone, 3x50mins Nature’s Great Events and 5x50mins Human Journey.

The Australian broadcaster will air the shows on its main channel, ABC1. It also acquired the third season of BBC-distributed, Tiger Aspect-produced, drama series Robin Hood.
