ITV gets Cold Feet in Poland, Czech Republic
ITV Global Entertainment has cut deal for Cold Feet and sold its scripted series into Poland, where a local version is in production for free-to-air broadcaster TVN, Tobi de Graff, director of global TV distribution at the distributor told TBIvision.
ITV GE, the commercial arm of UK commercial broadcaster ITV, is also about to conclude another scripted format deal for the show, for a local Czech version, de Graff said. The drama series, which follows the lives of three young couples, was popular in the UK where the it aired on ITV. A US version for NBC was, however, cancelled after a handful of episodes.
Separately, ITV GE has sold its popular Come Dine with Me format to SBS in the Netherlands and had orders for new series of the local French version. It has already gone to multiple series in territories including Spain and Hungary. In the US a version aired on the TLC channel and ITV GE is now working on a deal for a new version, for a different, as yet unnamed, broadcaster.
