FIC launches The Listener global premiere

Fox International Channels, the New Corp-owned international broadcaster, is set to launch its latest drama series The Listener with a global premiere in March.

This is thought to be the first worldwide premiere of such a series and launches ahead of the Shaftesbury Film-produced, ShineReveille-distributed show’s premiere in the US.

The show, which follows a young paramedic who doubles as a telepath trying to save people in distress, will launch in 180 territories including the UK, Italy, Argentina, Mexica, Japan, Brazil and Turkey ahead of the launch on NBC in the US and Canada’s CTV.
