Venevision inks deal with CCTV

Venevision International, which is Cisnersos’ distribution arm, will sell CCTV content in Latin America, while CCTV’s sales arm CITVC will sell Venevision content across China and nearby Asian territories.

Venevision International has already sold a number of its key titles to CCTV including six-part documentary Road to Revival, which tells the history of China, and its hit novelas such as The Woman of My Life and Rebel Angel.

It will also plan to launch a number of coproductions following the success of 6x1hour documentary The Yang Tze River, which was coproduced by the two companies.
