Channel 4 orders Bring Back⦠Star Trek⦠Fame
UK broadcaster Channel 4 has ordered two more shows from the Bring Back… franchise. The shows will be produced SO Television, the UK indie set up by comedian and presenter Graham Norton and Graham Stuart.
Stuart tells TBIvision that Channel 4 has now greenlit Bring Back Fame and Bring Back Star Trek.
The Bring Back… shows, in which UK comedian and presenter Justin Lee Collins reunites the casts of classic movie and film franchises, have already set about tracing the stars of Dallas, The A Team and classic UK kids series Grange Hill. Next on screen is 1x90mins Bring Back Star Wars.
Now the series will seek to trace and the stars of cult dance school drama Fame and classic sci-fi series Star Trek. The Fame show will shoot first, from the end of the year.
The earlier Bring Back… shows were produced by So Television and UK indie Simon & Simon Media but the Fame and Star Trek shows will be made by So Television alone.
