Studiocanal’s Neylon exits as Campos becomes sales head
Studiocanal executive VP of sales and marketing Katrina Neylon has departed the company, TBI has learned, as former Endemol Shine director Beatriz Campos becomes head of international sales.
Neylon departed from the company on July 28. The former Shine International exec joined Studiocanal in 2015.
Campos (pictured) previously acted as vice president of sales for Iberia, Italy, Latin America and Scandinavia at Studiocanal.
Based in London, Campos is set to lead the international sales activities for all of the producer and distributor’s TV series including the company’s portfolio of Creation Originale and Canal+ series and third-party acquisitions.
Campos’ remit will be to develop and drive sales strategy for its TV roster. She will report to Anna Marsh, EVP for international distribution.
Marsh said: “I am delighted to have Beatriz leading our global sales team. Her wide experience wiff enable us to maximize our revenue potential through the development of new windowing strategies and multi-territory deals to deliver continuous growth to our business.
“I am sure her enthusiasm, coupled with strong strategic skiffs, will lift our television distribution team to the next level.”
Prior to joining Studiocanal, Campos was sales director at Endemol Shine International following earlier roles at ITV Global Entertainment and TVF International.
This month, Canal+ commissioned Red Production Company, a UK subsidiary of StudioCanal, to produce Joann Sfar’s live action drama Monsters’ Shrink.
