Landgraf’s FX ups trio
US cable channel FX Networks has promoted a trio of executives, with two execs who began as assistants to president John Landgraf’s taking new VP positions.
The promotions see Colette Wilson become senior VP of current series and Barbara Crawford upped from a director post to become VP of current series.
Both joined FX as Landgraf’s assistants – Wilson in 2004 and Crawford a year later – before moving up through the ranks.
They will both continue to report into Jonathan Frank, executive VP of current series and FX Productions.
Kevin Wandell, meanwhile, has been promoted to VP of development, having joined the Fox Networks Group—owned channel in 2011 as manager.
He has helped develop series such as The Americans, Tyrant, Atlanta and Baskets, and previously worked at HBO, where he was involved in the development of Game of Thrones.
He will continue to report to FX Networks and FX Productions EVP of series development Gina Balian, who was handed control of FX’s global programming strategy in January when Sharon Tal Yguado joined Amazon Studios.
