Cohan upped in A+E Networks rejig

Sean CohanA+E Networks has rejigged its digital and corporate units, handing Sean Cohan a wider role as president, international and digital media.

The new structure sees the channel operator and programmer bring its international and digital divisions together, with Cohan at the helm.

Daniel Suratt is also upped in the restructure, taking the new role of president, corporate development, strategy and investments.

Suratt will report to CFO David Granville-Smith and Cohan continues to report to Nancy Dubuc, president and CEO, A+E Networks.

Dubuc said: “Over the next five years, our growth will come from international and digital expansion, as well as revenue diversification. By appointing Dan and Sean to these new roles and aligning our businesses and goals, A+E Networks is well positioned for future success.”

Cohan has overseen the wide rollout of A+E’s international channels, which include Lifetime, History and C+I, and also oversees its content sales unit.

He has been at A+E for over a decade, having been at investment bank Morgan Stanley previously.
