A+E expands formats team
A+E Networks has brought on two new formats executives and promoted another as it expands its activity in the formats sector.
Naomi Koh has joined from Viacom’s Channel 5 and will be director, international format sales. Prior to Channel 5, she was at Zodiak Rights as vice president, sales.
Paul Hardy moves within the company, having been part of A+E cable net Lifetime’s development team, and becomes international roving executive producer. Prior to Lifetime, Hardy was at Turner-owned cable channel TruTV. He now reports to Sally Habbershaw, vice president, International programming, production and operations.
Senior director, international content sales, Robyn Hurd (left), meanwhile, has added responsibility for new territories to her remit and will have direct responsibility for format sales to the UK and the EMEA region.
Koh reports to Hurd, who in turn reports to Ellen Lovejoy, vice president, international content sales for formats activity and to Denis Cantin, VP, head of content sales, EMEA on finished programme sales.
Hurd will report to Lovejoy on format sales and continue reporting to Denis Cantin, VP, head of content sales, EMEA on programme sales.
“Naomi, Paul and Robyn are talented executives who bring an enormous breadth of experience to the format sales team,” said Lovejoy. “Each has wealth of experience and the commercial acumen to develop and implement Format Sales Strategies. They will make valuable contributions to the format team as we further expand our efforts globally.”
