Ex-ITV producer joins Barcroft in long-form push
Former ITV producer Adam Mudditt has joined UK-based digital channels operator Barcroft Media, which is restructuring ahead of a push into online long-form programming.
Mudditt has been named as head of video production with a remit to manage channels arm Barcroft TV’s production team to allow the producer-distributor to increase output across multiple video channels. He will also manage distribution schedules and processes.
Furthermore Barcroft Productions, which produces TV series such as Animal Planet’s Preposterous Pets, has appointed former ITV and BBC producer Jo Enyori as head of development. She joins from Thumbs Up Productions. Her credits include TLC’s Jodie Marsh: Women Who Pay for Sex and Channel 4’s Gok Wan: Made In China.
Barcroft TV is gearing up to launch a slate of new online channels as part of its move into long-form programming. To this end it has promoted Alex Morris from head of digital to creative director, and made new promotions to its reporting teams.
The company recently named former Bizarre magazine news editor Alix Fox as its head of social media and presenter of new weekly round-up show Top 5 Shorts.
