Endemol takes rights to Bourdain and Spurlock CNN series

Endemol will distribute Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown and Morgan Spurlock Inside Man after acquiring international rights to both series.

The shows originally went out on news network CNN and the distribution deal sees Endemol take all rights outside the US.

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown follows the titular chef and host as he travels to far flung corners of the world uncovering food culture and rituals.

Morgan Spurlock Inside Man, produced by Spurlock’s Warrior Poets, is pitched as ‘an intimate look into diverse sectors of American life.”

Endemol already distributes CNN factual series including Crimes of the Century.

Endemol Worldwide Distribution boss Cathy Payne said: “Anthony Bourdain and Morgan Spurlock are both internationally renowned for their work and we can expect significant demand around the world for these latest series.”
