UK industry veterans start drama copro and funding business
The Ruth Rendell Mysteries producer Neil Zeiger and one of the creators of Doc Martin, Tim Buxton, have created Nevision, a consultancy and funding business for indies that are making content with international potential.
The pair are teaming with financier James Cabourne and the trio will be heading tio MIPTV next month to talk to potential partners.
Nevision said it will collaborate with producers that have series with a broadcast commission and an appeal to the international market.
It will advise on the best distribution and sales agent, the effective exploitation of IP and managing additional funding mechanisms, including UK tax credits.
Zeiger said: “Nevision is a response to a growing market and the constant pressure on producers to deliver high quality drama, when the costs of achieving this generate more complex financing structures than at any time in the past. Nevision represents a good marriage between content creators and funding providers. ”
