Blind Date comedy format set for Russia
Russian channel Rossiya 1 has ordered a local version of Israeli-originated comedy Ciega a Citas (Blind Date).
The format is distributed by Dori Media, which has struck a deal with Russkoe Film Company, The prodco already started making the Russian version and it will go out on the free-TV channel later this year.
The series has already sold well internationally and Spanish free-TV channel Cuatro is among those to have a local version of the show.
The show follows a young woman as she tries to find a boyfriend in time for a big family wedding.
