FIC goes back to The Bridge

Fox International Channels has acquired the second season of US drama series The Bridge to launch in 125 territories.

This comes after US net FX ordered Shine America to produce a second season of the show, which is base on Danish-Swedish drama Bron.

FIC will co-finance the new season and has exclusive pay TV rights across its broadcast territories.

The debut episode of the second season of the original Scandi version scored record ratings of 1.2 million, or a 33.8% market share, on SVT1 on Sunday. Shine International is launching a UK-French remake from Sky and Canal+, The Tunnel, in Cannes.
