Fremantle NA lands Bad Wolf exec Jeff Boone as VP of scripted development
Fremantle has hired Bad Wolf exec Jeff Boone as its VP of scripted development in North America.
Boone will be responsible for developing new series and become part of Fremantle’s global scripted network, reporting to EVP of scripted programming, Jenni Sherwood.
He joins following a six-year stint at Bad Wolf, where he was most recently VP of development. Before that, Boone was manager of global scripted development at Entertainment One Television.
Fremantle’s US scripted team is currently working on a reboot of Baywatch for Fox, while its slate also includes political thriller Fellow Travelers, which premiered on Showtime in October, and PBS duo Little Bird and Alice And Jack, the latter debuting on Channel 4 in the UK.
Sherwood said: “Jeff’s experience and impeccable reputation compliments Fremantle’s creative collective of visionary talent who are developing and producing much of the world’s most exciting television.”
