RTS in Switzerland has become the first international buyer of Lineup Industries’ format We’ve Got To Walk.

The Swiss version will be called San Detours and filming will commence in the Swiss alps this month.

The format was created by Panenka and debuted on VRT’s Canvas channel in Belgium, where it has recently been commissioned for a second season.

The show follows a host who visits famous people at home and asks them questions about their bond with one of their parents or children before paying a visit to the parent or child in question, to ask them the same questions.

They later take a long walk together in nature, wearing headphones where, during the walk, they will hear quotes from each other’s interview.

RTS exec Patrick Léger described the show as “a simple yet effective idea and the perfect example of a show that captures deep emotional human connection”.

Ed Louwerse, founder of Lineup Industries, added: “This show is very heart-warming, bringing to the surface emotional conversations that have often been buried due to the frenetic pace of modern life.”

RTS is also the Swiss home of Radio Gaga (aka Caravane FM), another Belgian format distributed by Lineup Industries, which has been commissioned for a ninth season.
