Eccholine’s Peter Van den Bussche passes away, aged 57

Media industry veteran Peter Van den Bussche has passed away, aged 57, following a short battle with cancer.

The popular exec, who most recently served as EVP of international sales & business development, and head of UK, at Eccholine, passed away last Saturday.

Former Endemol, Twentieth Century Fox and Zodiak exec Van den Bussche joined production firm Eccholine in 2019 to head up the company’s UK operation.

Van den Bussche was head of international sales at Endemol Entertainment and worked in format sales for Twentieth Century Fox TV Distribution.

He was also head of business development at Zodiak Media Group and led alternative TV production funding initiatives for London-based media investment firm MCap and media agency Omnicom Media Group.

The funeral is set to take place later this month, with an obituary to follow, according to C21, which first reported Van den Bussche’s passing.
