‘Uncoupled’ re-cancelled as Showtime drops plans for former Netflix comedy

US comedy Uncoupled will not go forward with a second season at Showtime.

The news comes a little over a year since the US cablenet saved the Neil Patrick Harris-led show from cancellation by Netflix.

The series, from MTV Entertainment Studios, was apparently rescued by Showtime in February 2023 after it was dropped by Netflix the month prior.

However, Deadline reports that Showtime has opted to not moved forward with a second season after allk, after months of redevelopment to tailor the show to “the network’s sensibilities” came to nought.

Created by Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman, Uncoupled starred Harris as a New York real-estate agent who must adjust to being single in his 40s when he splits with his long-term boyfriend.
