Endemol Shine NA alum Will Keenan resurfaces at Coy Creator

Former Endemol Shine North America digital president Will Keenan is returning to the entertainment industry as chief revenue officer for business accelerator Coy Creator.

Keenan joined Endemol Shine North America in 2013, where he launched the company’s Beyond division. During his time there, he built a talent and creator roster that included global music star Pitbull, online lifestyle guru Michelle Phan, music & comedic celebrity Andy Milonakis, viral sensation Brittany Furlan and rock icon Courtney Love. He exited in 2015 to take a sabbatical from the industry and prior to his time there served as VP at Maker Studios.

Led by CEO Matt Silk, Coy Creator describes itself as a “talent-first, business-in-a-box designed for elite creators as the only full-service technology solution in the creator economy.” Keenan will lead Coy Creator’s overall business, strategic partnerships, and talent relations initiatives.

The company says that its new platform aims to allow talent to host their exclusive content experience on their own URL with no brand competition, 100% data ownership and complete control of their fan engagement.

Actress Caylee Cowan, Bollywood singer Shweta Pandit and digital prankster Ed Bassmaster have already signed up the platform and Keenan is currently in negotiations with comedian King Bach.

Of Keenan, Silk said: “I don’t think we could write a job requirements-list as good as his background is for our company. Our mission is to help creators set themselves up for long-term success and now we have the right person to help us accomplish just that.”
