Nordic comedy Cammo could be set for remakes across Europe after format rights were struck in five territories, including France and Germany.

The scripted comedy format has been acquired by Banijay Studios France and Studio Hamburg in Germany, with Satisfaction Iberia in Spain, ITV in the Netherlands and Heartmade Media in Belgium also securing remake rights.

The show was originally developed in-house for NRK in Norway and is set to launch its second season on 11 April, with a third season already greenlit by the broadcaster.

The deals come ahead of Series Mania Forum this week and were brokered by Belgium formats distributor Primitives, which is handling international distribution.

Cammo follows a woman who goes bankrupt on her way to becoming a major influencer, who is then forced to take a job as a personal assistant for Kamilla, a young woman with Downs syndrome. At first, they seem to have nothing in common but, then an unlikely friendship unfolds.

More follows.
