ProSiebenSat.1 alum Daniel Rosemann & Stefan Raab partner for new production firm
Former ProSieben and Sat.1 channel chief Daniel Rosemann has partnered with producer and entertainer Stefan Raab to launch a new production company, Raab Entertainment.
Rosemann exited German broadcast group ProSiebenSat.1 in October, following a 15-year stint, most recently leading channel duo Sat.1 and ProSieben.
During his time there, he brought formats including The Masked Singer, The 1% Club, Uncovered and The Voice into Germany.
Raab, meanwhile, is the former boss of Banijay label Brainpool and the producer of shows such as Turmspringen and Blamieren Oder Kassieren.
Raab Entertainment launched yesterday, 1 January. Writing on social media, Rosemann said: “We have a lot planned and want to start the new year with a great team and lots of ideas. Raab Entertainment produces moving image content for all broadcasters, platforms and customers; we are creative and hands-on. We develop concepts and ideas that are unique.”
The nascent company is also looking to expand its ranks “as quickly as possible” and is hiring for an executive producer.
