BBC Studios tweaks EMEA digital & on demand team with Kasia Jablonska promotion

BBC Studios (BBCS) has rejigged its streaming strategy team in EMEA with the promotion of Kasia Jablonska to an expanded position.

Taking the newly created role of director of digital and on-demand, Jablonksa’s remit includes increasing digital revenue streams, creating new digital products and extending audience engagement.

Jablonska joined BBCS in December 2021 and has overseen the launch of BBC Player in Poland and BBC Nordic+, as well as expanding its FAST portfolio in EMEA to six channel brands in 42 countries including the recent launch of the Top Gear channel.

Prior to BBCS, she had stints at Fox, NBC Universal, A+E Networks, Scripps/Discovery and Endemol Shine Group.

Jablonska reports into Arran Tindall, BBCS’s chief commercial officer & EVP for EMEA, and Tim Christlieb, SVP & GM of branded services for EMEA.

“Kasia’s promotion is a reflection on her innovative approach and strategic vision which have already made a significant impact on our team and digital developments in EMEA . We are confident that she will continue to drive excellence and successfully grow BBC Studios presence in the digital space further,” said Tindall.

Jablonska’s new position begins with immediate effect.
