Prime Video, Stan & Sundance Now investigate ‘The Long Shadow’
Prime Video in Africa, Australian streamer Stan and NHK Enterprises’ Mystery Channel have picked up fact-based British crime thriller series The Long Shadow.
Other deals struck by distributor All3Media International include Sundance Now in the US and Canada, MagentaTV in Germany, Virgin Media Television in Ireland, VRT in Belgium, Cosmote TV in Greece and for POLAR+ in France.
The seven-part series depicts the five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, focusing on the lives of the victims who crossed his path and those of the officers at the heart of the police investigation.
Produced by New Pictures (Des, White House Farm), the series is written by George Kay (Hijack, Criminal: UK) and directed by Lewis Arnold (Sherwood, Time, Des). The series premiered on ITV1 and ITVX in the UK last month.
