Canada’s Corus overhauls content with Troy Reeb upped & 20-year veteran Colin Bohm departing

Canada’s Corus Entertainment has rejigged it senior content team, with Troy Reeb taking on an expanded remit while 20-year veteran Colin Bohm is departing.

Reeb becomes EVP of networks & content and will lead all studio content, in addition to his current oversight of multi-platform broadcast networks, news and audio.

The decision, which Corus said it was making as part of a strategy to “streamline” its operating model, is designed to give Reeb a “fully integrated cross-portfolio view” of Corus’ content, whether acquired or produced, for both the Canuch networks and for distribution around the world.

Reeb has been at the Canadian firm for more than 20 years and was appointed to become EVP of broadcast networks in February 2019.

His new role means the EVP of content & strategy role held by Bohm is being disbanded, with the exec leaving 31 October. Bohm had been with the company for 21 years.
