Starz preps Hunting Wives

Starz is among the first to emerge with a commission following the US writers strike, with the operatoe ordering eight-episode drama, The Hunting Wives.

The thriller is based on the novel by May Cobb, who will also serve as executive producer, and tells the story of a woman and her family’s move from the East Coast to deep red East Texas, where she succumbs to a socialite’s charms but then finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.

Rebecca Cutter (Hightown) will write and serve as showrunner, with Erwin Stoff (The Serpent Queen) for 3 Arts Entertainment.

iCarly revival cancelled by Paramount+

Paramount+ is bringing the curtain down on the reboot of iCarly after three seasons.

The show was revived in 2021 and picked up on the life of central character Carly a decade after the original series ended on Nickelodeon.

The show was produced by Nickelodeon Studios.
