Lineup’s Belgian format ‘Therapy’ lands in the Netherlands & Israel
Broadcasters in the Netherlands and Israel have become the latest to order local remakes of Lineup Industries’ mental health format, Therapy.
NPO3 will debut the Netherlands version, which had initially been destined for streamer NPOStart, with De Haaien in production for a TX later this year.
In Israel, public network KAN has commissioned the show to be produced by Yoav Gross Productions, which previously remade Lineup’s Taboo. Its 10-part version will explore the world of parenting with each session covering issue that parents face with children from the age of two to the age of 18.
In Belgium, Therapy has just been re-commissioned for a third season by VRT Canvas.
The format was created by Panenka and aims to break down the stigma attached to therapy, putting the viewer as a witness to the intimate discussions between therapists and their clients.
