Better

US streamer Hulu and Britbox have picked up rights to BBC drama Better, produced by UK-based Sister.

The five-parter, which debuted on BBC One in the UK earlier this year, will become available on BritBox in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden, while NPO in the Netherlands and VRT in Belgium also have rights.

America Video Films has struck a pan-territory deal covering South America with All3Media International, which distributes globally.

Better has been written and created by Jonathan Brackley and Sam Vincent. It follows the story of a high ranking police officer who realises she must bring an associate and powerful criminal to justice.

The show has already been picked up by Pickbox in the Balkans, Sýn hf in Iceland, Binge and Foxtel On Demand in Australia and on TVNZ in New Zealand.
