Food Network hires former HBO Max exec Julie St. Aubin

Food Network has hired Julie St. Aubin from fellow Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) brand Max to work across its development slate.

The exec, who had been VP of non-fiction at HBO Max, will take up the new role of SVP of development & production later this month.

Her new remit includes oversight of female-skewing shows, as well as content for millennials and Gen Z. She reports into Betsy Ayala, WBD’s head of food content.

St. Aubin had been behind shows including Selena + Chef and worked for E! Prior to joining HBOI Max in 2019.

WBD closed its unscripted arm last year, following the merger between Discovery and Warner Media.
