‘Never Say Never’ prodco Hit + Run ups Noah Korn to become SVP of development
Hit + Run, the US prodco behind Disney+ and Hulu show Never Say Never, has upped Noah Korn to become SVP of development.
Korn, who joined Hit + Run from ITV Studios, will oversee the company’s current and developing slate of series and formats, reporting into founder Rob Shaftel.
The exec has most recently been working on the Jeff Jenkins global adventure docuseries Never Say Never, which tracks the eponymous travel journalist who traverses the world to redefine the limits of his physical abilities.
Korn also has credits on Critter Fixers: Country Vets for Nat Geo Wild and Netflix’s Swap Shop, as well as long-running I Was Prey for Animal Planet.
Prior to Hit + Run, Korn was director of development at ITVS America and before that worked in production management, having started his career at the BBC.
Shaftel said Korn had been “integral” in the prodco’s slate expansion, “nurturing our talent and partnerships and growing Hit + Run into what it is today.”
Korn added: “Rob has always championed an innovative slate filled with fresh POVs, and buzzworthy formats. It’s a developer’s dream to be able to play in such a large and unrestrained creative sandbox, at a company with such rapid growth and momentum.”
